Hi!
When I connect my monitor to my Notebook Series 9 (NP930QAA) using a USB-C/USB-C cable I receive the following message from Samsung Settings:

Auxiliary power is connected. Please connect a rated adapter because the system can be discharged by using more than 10W (5V/2A) power for a long time.

In fact, my monitor delivers around 70W via USB-PD profile and it is directly connected to a wall socket (and receiving power from it). EDIT 2021-03-19: the same message is also shown when an external power pack (up to 5V@3A, 15W) is connected via USB-C.
The notebook power supply adapter has been disconnected.
As far as I could notice (I have just bought the monitor) the notebook battery remains in a steady 85% charge (*) and it does not seem to be discharging.
I could understand the message if the monitor was delivering less than 10W. But the warning is the opposite.

I would like that someone explain this message to me.

The message is warning of possible overcharging of the notebook via the connection. I think you need a different cable to connect your monitor to your notebook. It sounds like you have a charging cable when you need a data cable instead.

The USB-C/USB-C cable came with the monitor and it is meant to handle both data, audio/video signals and power delivery simultaneously.

Well your notebook doesn't like it, that's what the message is about. I would look into it if I were you.

I think that the USB cable connected to the monitor power the Notebook that thinks you have connected a power supply or battery extender (external power pack) to it.

In other words, the Notebook is being powered by the monitor PS via the USB cable.

Well, that is exactly what is expected: the notebook is indeed powered by the power supply of the monitor. The notebook power supply adapter is disconnected.

The problem here is the meaning of the "more" word: Auxiliary power is connected. Please connect a rated adapter because the system can be discharged by using more than 10W (5V/2A) power for a long time.

The monitor delivers up to 60W.

Well, I believe it is quite that. If I may present my own interpretation:

"Auxiliary power is connected. ..." : Ok, the system (i.e., the notebook) knows that an auxiliary power supply has been connected. Fine.

"... Please connect a rated adapter ...": the user manual says that the USB-C connection shall deliver more than 5V/2A.

(now may tricky interpretation)

"... because the system can be discharged by using more than 10W (5V/2A) power for a long time.": the notebook can resort to its internal battery (*) if the system (again, the notebook itself) demands more than 10W (5V/2A) power for a long time e.g., when the notebook runs at its top performance for a long time

*: henceforth, electrical questions aside, my interpretation is that the warning is all about the notebook draining its internal battery if the auxiliary power supply is not powerful enough.

Weird uh?
