Hmm well the Major Geeks software was blocked by my machine and the command line per SIW does run either.

    Did you copy/paste
    Code:
    reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /v PathName
into powershell? It works for me

Majorgeeks one works for me too after I get through the warning about running it.

Ok mate I will do the Major Geeks one again and disregard the warning as the Powershell option you mention comes up with a lot of gobbeldegook in red.

You'll probably feel that it's more gobbeldegook too.

This is is the bestest one I've seen: Releases . rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11 . GitHub Output is in plain simple English with details of what passes/fails.

Of course it's based on what's currently known and is subject to change.

Ok mate I will try that one because the Major Geeks software is just being blocked by my machine here.

Yes, it's blocked until you press on the show me more details or whatever the other option on the screen says for you to allow it to run anyway. It's much better than the dumb M$ tool which doesn't give any details on my non-compliant PC for why it's not compliant.

The tool at GitHub is clean. You're getting a false positive.
Just make an exception for it.

    John,
If you're not trying to install Window 11 right now, look at, but don't do any of the workaround steps. Just letting you know so you're not tempted or confused and try any of them on your main PCs

If you have extra test PCs, then let me know how you like Windows 11 if you decide to try it with the workarounds.
