scheduled tasks on my system get randomly disabled. don't seem to discern any pattern on when that might happen, but more often than not it's the case when i go to task scheduler. googling this says that avast maybe the culprit, but changing its options makes no difference for me. what gives?

Hi, you are correct; in another recent thread I commented that had been my experience after an Avast update. It's also an older Avast bug.
Deselect options in Do Not Disturb mode until you find the one responsible.
ok. found the avast notification settings screen like yours, so i'll play around with it. you wouldn't have experience on it?

followed your cue on those settings, and i've also since created a batch file that runs on startup to enable the tasks i want. so far so good...
Great- that's worked for me. Should be no need for any special defensive action. Seemed an update to Avast led to this (again, as it has history of this behaviour).
