it brings up the C-drive, but even there is does NOT actually show the C-drive in format I need.
It shows the folders on the C-drive, but nothing else.
    ??

    What "format" do you need?

    What does it show?

Other than folders, what do you want it to show?

What doesn't it show that you wish it did?

What happens if you double click a folder?

Do you see a large Explorer pane, divided into two parts like this?

You're making it tough on us because you are not posting pix of what you in fact DO see.

zbook - to do that do I need a Product Code and use the down to install Windows 10 home? If Microsoft gets another dime out of me, it will be a cold day in Hell.

If there was an upgrade from 7 or 8 to 10 or windows 10 updates then licensing information should be on Microsoft servers.

OK I have a screenshot of what is in my File Explorer I have no idea what format it is in.

As you can see there are NO drives showing as they should be.

Click the view menu and then click on "Navigation Pane" - will give a list of drives on the left. Then click on where it says "This PC" on that list.

That is the Quick Access view, I have just set up my Explorer to look like yours....

    Weird Windows 10 PC-explorer-quick-access.png

Click File > Change folder and search options

    Weird Windows 10 PC-explorer-change-options.png

Set it to open at 'This PC'

To get this next time you open Explorer.

You would also find it useful to turn on the navigation pane, as pillboxhunter says.

Here is a screenshot of the only place I can see the hard drives. This is the Disk Manager.

    Weird Windows 10 PC-screenshot-2-.png

I should be able to delete the drivers and then install new drivers. I am NOT sure how to do that yet.

    Still working on it.

BTW pillboxhunter - There is no "Navigation Pane" in the View Pane.

No, don't delete anything. You just need to change File Explorer to show 'This PC' instead of 'Quick access' as its default view. See my step by step instructions and screenshots in post #25.

It sounds to me that you have not tried what @Bree suggested in post #25. Is that correct?
