System Crash, Reboot, Account gone, can't login

After a lengthy snipe hunt through a couple hours and a half dozen entries found searching this forum, I hit one that SEEMS to have gotten me back to my local account...

I still have no idea what Windows, or I, DID, but it appears to be undone.

I am glad that you managed to sort out your problem.

Perhaps you could share what you actually tried so that anyone with the same problem coming across this thread can also benefit. You never know, someone might be able to tell you which one was the one that corrected it.

    Thanks.

I did an Internet search, didn't find anything useful (Microsoft stuff that didn't work). Then came in here to put in the topic, tried a search, and found a list of the "change from internet account to local login" and got a list. About 5th or 6th on the list was the topic in this forum that worked. BUT, I believe it worked because I was logged into the Internet account.

The big thing for me is I HAVE NOT been anywhere NEAR the Microsoft store or anywhere that I logged in with this Microsoft account in MONTHS... Perhaps a year. Hasn't happened.

So HOW the thing decided I should be using a Microsoft account I used ONE TIME at least 2 years ago, I have no idea.
