Looking for 17.3" gaming laptop with DVD drive

    SSDs these days are also available for external use - If you have USB3 or USB-c It can give you storage that equals or exceeds the performance of internal devices

    This is one i have for use with my laptop (in my specs) It gives me fast access for transfer of image data

    Thanks =) That might work actually. The laptop I'm looking at has two M.2 SSD slots. I think I can put them into an enclosure? But am unsure what are the best ones.

    There are lots of external drive enclosures for SSD use, however I would recommend that you try to find a one by one of the well known drive manufacturers as some of the lower priced units can be a bit hit and miss. If possible go for an enclosure from the same manufacturer as the M2 drive for best compatability and thus performance
