I was wondering if the entry might be part of the new Meet but I've removed it and still have the entry.

But after looking again, it`s the key with the } on the end that CCleaner brings up as the problem key.
And it`s the one that gets highlighted in Regedit.
I`m confused.
Initially I just tried to delete the "Voice Toast Callback" value on the right. But that did get rid of the entry coming up in CCleaner. That's when I decided to delete the whole 0256.... key on the left.
But like I said... all I can remember is the stuff in post #9. :/
The fact that I wanted to delete the "value" as well as the 0256... key, is what makes me think I had to do something with the inheritance and child object things (at the bottom) on the owner page.

If you have a recent backup... after you change the owner to YOU... try clicking "Enable Inheritance and put a check in the box right below that... on the bottom left corner.
Then click all the Applys as you back out of all those pages... and then try to delete the 0256... key.
OR...
Try (at the top) checking that box... (Replace owner on subcontainers and objects)
Actually, I think the one in the top RED circle, makes more sense.
Cause that would change the owner to YOU, on all the stuff IN the 0256... key.

Ok I figured it out...
After you change the owner to YOU, click the "Enable Inheritance" button... then click apply.
It'll pop up a warning box... click Yes or OK.
THEN you'll see YOUR account name pop up in the list above, with FULL CONTROL. THEN you can delete the 0256... key on the left.

Download PowerRun from there: Download PowerRun v1.4 (sordum.org)
Extract the package and then run PowerRun_x64.exe as Administrator.
Make a double click on "%systemroot%\System32\cmd.exe"
and in the command prompt window type regedit and press enter.
In the registry editor, navigate to the entry you want to delete and delete it.
But save the entry beforehand.

I just worked with what you gave me Ghot and I used a small b instead of a capitol B for my username.
CCleaner comes up clean. Now to fix it on the X299
Yeah, and you don't have to check the box under Enable Inheritance button.
I haven't figured out how to turn the owner back to ONLY TrustedInstaller, but you'll see on the list that both YOU and TrustedInstaller have "full control".
