Stop Windows 10 from asking to link phone to computer

This is very annoying because of the nagging and that editing group policy to disable linking of phone to computer does not stop Windows 10 Pro (my current version 2004 build 19041.804) from asking me to link my phone to my computer. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, but that is not the issue. Mine the blue screen that comes up nagging me to link my phone to my computer and Windows 10. There is no "No, thanks" option; only "Remind me later." The closest I get is editing the group policy to disable linking of my phone I mentioned in my OP. However, since I still get this from time to time on each of my 4 Windows 10 computers, it is quite annoying. I have used the Windows Feedback Hub to express my displeasure about this to Microsoft, but they have opted to not address this by providing a simple, easy way to stop this nagging.

Besides Group Policy, what other ways have you tried ?
Do you utilize Shared experiences, Share across devices ?

Unlink your phone from your PC running Windows 10, use these steps:

    • Open Settings.
    • Click on Phone.
    • Click the Unlink this PC option. Unlink your phone from computer.
    • Click the Home button.
    • Click on Devices.
    • Click on Bluetooth & other devices.
    • Select your phone.
    • Click the Remove device button.

This is becoming more frustrating than my futile web searches that fail to turn up the answer to my issue. My issue has nothing to do with my phone. It is not involved in this issue so I do not need to unlink it.

It has everything to do with computers running Windows 10. On boot up, a pop up blue screen that interrupts boot up randomly appears that asks me to link my phone. This is what I want to permanently stop from happening.

    • In Settings, navigate to System > Notifications & actions.
    • Scroll and look for ‘Suggest ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows’
    • Uncheck this option and the notification will not show up again.
