Disable "Blinking" Light When Powering Down Computer Into Sleep Mode

That's actually a pretty nice idea. I never thought of it. I appreciate you mentioning that.
So now I am thinking of a dark, clear, barely see-through sticker, that I can maybe cut to fit as a ring (or multiple layers of that ring), to cover the majority of the brightness of the ring-like shape of the blue LED light. (Refer to the picture). Maybe make it like 5% as bright.

Yet if I cut out circles (instead of rings), and tape them on there, then the black button in the center may become difficult to press (to turn on the computer). But I'll check it out, maybe some tests and trials.

Cool. I appreciate you opening my eyes to this idea as well. That's actually a pretty nice idea. I'm assuming window vinyl might be a bit expensive. I'll go to Michaels (the arts and crafts store), and look for a sticker sheet that's similar. I'm very sure they have something like that. Cool. And some sort of protractor device to make the perfect circle and another slightly smaller circle inside the circle cutout (to make the ring shape).

Cool! After some testing and trialing, I ended up removing the front case cover of the Desktop (which I never did before, nor did I think it actually does come off). Apparently it gets removed with those plastic 'click-locks' (I don't know their exact term name), and I've always thought that this front plastic desktop cover was mounted (soldered) onto the frame of the desktop computer unit.

I've tried coloring the mini LED light with a black sharpie, yet it was too bright (so I erased the sharpie ink from the LED light unit). I've tried coloring multiple tiny pieces of scotch tape, and taping them on top of the clear thing connected to the front case cover, got way too dim. etc...

So I eventually colored the clear LED "magnifier" of the desktop case (from behind the case cover) with a black sharpie, and taped 1 small piece of scotch tape that I also colored with a black sharpie, and now the dimness of that seems pretty good. I'd have to try it out in the evening (it's too bright in the room at the time of this post, and impossible to make this room completely dark during the day).

But thank you everyone for the suggestions here. And also, thank you hsehestedt for giving me the bright idea of actually doing something from behind the front case cover, to help dim the light, without making an adjustment from the outside of the desktop case cover. I really appreciate it!
