    Desktop icons in recycle bin

    Hi guys,
Having a small problem where i go to start my laptop in the morning after using it the night before and for some reason alot of my desktop icons have been sent to my recycle bin?
So every morning i have to restore them all... it`s a bit annoying.
I have Sync turned off in my account settings , apart from that i`m not sure why its happening?
Wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Hello @PNut , welcome to Ten Forums.

Does anyone else have access to your laptop? That almost sounds like someone is pranking you.

    Hey Ghot, thanks
Ha, yeah i wish it was a prank, it would be easier to explain, but i`m the only one here using it.

How long have you had this problem? Can you recall doing anything different before this issue started?
Have you changed any settings regarding Tablet Mode?

Maybe something to do with One Drive or some other cloud storage (even though sync is off).

Might try opening a command prompt as admin and running: sfc /scannow
    ...and running: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
