    "Sleep" is shutting down pc.

my pc used to "go to sleep" without any issue.
latly ive install my windows on protable ssd drive, and since then "Sleep" is shutting down pc.
the option "sleep" is visible but i acutually turning of pc.

    what does this happen?
is it related to the fact the the system is intalled on external drive?

Many with internal drives are having issues with sleep too.

Run the following command from an admin powershell and post the output within php tags please: "powercfg /requests"

The output will possibly give a hint why the PC is not sleeping.

I don't want to repeat myself, so see my posts in the below linked thread on how I fixed my non-sleep problem induced by some crap M$ recently started doing:
Newer versions of Windows 10 will not idle, screensaver or go to sleep

Do you run any third party apps to block Windows Updates?

    Windows Automatic Update Manager.

But what does that have to do with any of these issues

Did you read my comments in the other thread? It has everything Windows Updates - maybe WAUM tames the problematic MoUsoCoreWorker from running wild, which keeps many PCs from sleeping.

Yep, "WAU Manager (Windows Automatic Updates Manager) is a fully featured replacement for the built in Windows Updating interface. This tool gives you full control of the Windows Updates, such as when and how they are installed, and has full uninstall and maintenance support for Windows updates." explains why your PC has no sleep issues. At least none due to MoUsoCoreWorker which it probably disables.
