    Ya I am constantly removing the update logs that get created every time windows checks for an update, so even with WAUM, windows is still checking for updates on it`s own.

    Really - apparently they're trying to crack down on people who circumvent updates from what I read recently.

    I'm all for updates, but this shoving preview updates up my "grass" is simply ridiculous.

    I install every update that Microsoft offers, except Preview updates.

    But I always use WAUM to look for updates, not windows update.

    For now, pausing WU for 35 days works for me, but I might have to break down and test using WAUM.

    Hello @shadtal and welcome to TF ,

    Many with internal drives are having issues with sleep too.

    Run the following command from an admin powershell and post the output within php tags please: "powercfg /requests"

    The output will possibly give a hint why the PC is not sleeping.

    @shadtal,
    Hello and thank you for the screenshot. It indicates that the you probably had a web page in Firefox playing audio or video - that will prevent the PC from sleeping, so close the associated tab, stop the video, or just exit Firefox, then check powercfg /requests out after doing each until the output shows None for each category. The PC should then sleep after your configured time of inactivity.

    Give me an update after trying that.
