Drag and Drop stopped working, after disabling Quick Access

Is the only way to drag and drop is to keep the annoying quick access enabled?

Hi. I always add Move To and Copy To to to the Right Click Context Menu. Find it to be much easier than Drag and Drop. The following link shows how to do it manually via the registry or by downloading the Move To/Copy To registry hack.

This way it doesn't matter if you have Quick access enabled or not.

Is this what you're referring to? There seems to be a workaround suggested here:
How to enable drag-and-drop in(to) the navigation of the Windows 10 explorer? - Super User

Note that this gives two methods of removing Quick Access.
Remove Quick access from Navigation Pane in Windows 10

You can see what the effect of the other (option 1 I guess in your case) is if you like.
