Well this is weird. I paused update for 35 days, rebooted, restarted update and it checked and found update KB4601554. I went ahead and updated it, left pc for awhile and when I came back, it was in sleep mode!!!
    I don't get it.

That's a preview update it snuck in on you just for manually checking updates. This is exactly what I was saying - and once you pause updates it stopped being kept awake by the naughty update process.

Exactly what I expected. Enjoy your PC and thanks for the update

@Ketchupp, are you using 1803 or a newer version as your title would imply ?
Sorry, I'm using 1803. Here's the About settings:

Quick, go change the question you asked. You asked why ?? wasn't using 20H2. You've lost some RAM buddy.
Alright, break it up you two.

Is there a specific way to turn off auto updating?

    @Ketchupp,
Please post the output of "powercfg /requests" anyway.

From Windows Updates settings is where I pause updates. Do you have that option in 1803?

Oh, I did up top. There were no power requests at the time.

I had to disable updates through GPedit in the meantime. I'm installing 20H2 right now and will let you know the results.

So I turned off automatic updates as a service and as a GPO and it didn't fix the problem. I am using 20H2.

Any other ideas? If not, I'll have to downgrade my version once again and stay with 1803.

What does "powercfg /requests" show now. Post the output or screenshot.

Is your PC set to sleep and not going to sleep or what? Check the settings: Change Power Plan Settings in Windows 10

Disable hibernation for testing Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 10

Turn the PC off/on after making any changes above before testing to see if it sleeps or not.

    No power requests.

I'm gonna say F-it and just downgrade. There's no setting I haven't tried yet with any luck. There's something about my hardware that Windows 10 20H2 just doesn't like. I've already gone through all the different options like you mentioned.

My screensaver is set to activate after 1 minute and that's not even working. I don't think that sleep will either.
