    Windows Settings broken scrolling.

    Hey, all.

Scrolling in Windows Settings sometimes breaks (can't scroll with mouse wheel - scrollbar moves but the actual content in the window doesn't change; grabbing the scrollbar & scrolling with it works). I've tried resetting it, re-registering it through PowerShell & running SFC & DISM (no issues were found).

That really does sound to me like a display driver problem.

I suggest you go to your computer maker's website to get & re-install your display driver even if it is the same version as the one you already have installed.

Here's a video: Windows Settings broken scrolling. - Album on Imgur

Alright, so I wiped my old GPU drivers using DDU while in Safe mode & reinstalled the same GPU drivers that I had previously (same GPU driver version). I don't know if this is related, but I got an error related to Windows Settings when I tried to access it in Safe mode. Is this normal?

If it only happens with "Settings" then I don't know the cause. If it happens with scrollbars in other programs then reset mouse/ touchpad/ gestures.

If you have a touch screen then try cleaning it.

Tried safe mode (no internet) and get this when going to app settings.

Try resetting the settings app. In the start list find Settings and right click - More - App settings - reset.

Issue appears to have been fixed after reinstalling GPU drivers. Thank you everyone for all your support!
