Hi there have been previous similar threads. E.g.
Not able to get Task Manager to auto start on boot
How To Automaticaly Start A Program Minimized

should have enough to let you make progress.

Otherwise feel free to search tenforums for more.

    Hello,

    thank you.

I already tried everything including using the schedule manager, batch commands, everything.

    I need:

    1) to create a working shortcut able to run Task Manager minimized (it will go to tray alone).

    2) put that shortcut in the START-UP folder of the START MENU or running it in a task of the schedule manager

Nothing works. Help if somebody can.

    No problem..

    @Pipppero2007,

I have followed the ideas in one of those links and it works: I will detail this for you as given in the links already posted.

    1. Create a bat file containing this command:
Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray-1.png

    2. Test this by double clicking the bat file.
    You should see
Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray-1.png

    Confirm you do.

    3. Now create a shortcut to that here:
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray-untitled.png

That's your all users startup folder.

Now log off, log on and look at your system tray.

Do you see the task manager minimised?

    That's from post #2
Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray-1.png

    2nd link I posted.

If still problems, post appropriate screenshots.

Can't help with comments like 'nothing works' really.

I discovered when using Windows 8, task manager saves its active state to a registry key but it for some reason got wiped on a reboot, so I then made a script that runs on startup to import back into registry.

I however dont know if this is applicable to windows 10 yet (on my todo list) and if it works for minimised window state, if I confirm it does I will provide the registry info.

Perhaps you are referring to the Key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TaskManager
See Backup and Restore Task Manager Settings - TenForumsTutorials

I don't know how that might be used to send it straight to a minimised to SysTray state upon opening.
