    Dortmunder,

I am now on 20H2. I have no problems with it.
[I never bother displaying the Task mgr column that so annoys Steve]

I did have a long-running search / indexing problem with Version 1909 but my symptoms were not the same as yours.
File explorer search does not find files in ver 1909 almost every day - TenForums
    - the link points to a particular post in that thread describing one remedial action I used to take and that might help you?????

Windows fan boys are never annoyed by broken features they don't use/never - that's just obvious and quite unnecessary to state.

Some didn't even know about this feature, found out after the fact, then don't care.

@dortmunder, is there something specific in 20H2 that's not in 2004 that you want?

There is no need to start insulting people because they do not share your opinions.

I think there's something far wrong here. That's twice I've watched 20H2 Installing to 100% but after the Restart I'm still on 1909. Tomorrow, I think I'll have to do the 'Repair Install'. According to this, the best way is the Media Creation Tool:

Thanks for all your input so far.

Just to verify, did you install the KB4562830 Enablement Package that allows you to go from build 19041 (v2004) to 19042 (v20H2)?
