Since recent Update, Indexing is always off

    I can now say that I recommend LTSC. It's not 'night and day' to normal Windows but it's good to be free of all the unused rubbish that you either accepted or disabled. Only one minor problem so far - an Update (KB4601345) stopped me being able to stream to my Dune player so I had to uninstall it. I don't like not having all the Updates but had no choice in this instance.

    Interestingly, MS just announced it was halving the "life" of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. I wrote a blog post about it today. Check it out at Windows 10 LTSC Lifetime Gets Halved.

    One big advantage of LTSC (or any other rollback, I suppose) is that the Explorer search box (top right of screen) works like it used to: just click it and it shows your recent searches no matter which folder they were done in. Start typing and results appear instantly. Lovely...
