Seeking clarity - Creating a Recovery Drive
Hi, Ive recently bought an ASUS gaming laptop. ASUS advice was to immediately create a recovery drive using the standard method from within Windows 10. The laptop shipped with Windows 10 version 1909 but I still created the recovery drive straight away just to be on the safe side.
I am about to upgrade to the latest version, Feature Update 20H2 through Windows Update.
My question is..When Ive finished updating to version 20H2 am I supposed to create another recovery drive? If I do, will this create a recovery drive with the Windows 10 20H2 version on it?...or will it still be the factory shipped version 1909? Obviously if disaster ever strikes Id like to be able to recover and reinstall the latest Windows version if thats possible.
Ive always used the Media Creation Tool in the past and clean installed. However this ASUS laptop has very little in the way of Bloatware so I'll be keeping all the ASUS software installed so the Create Recovery Drive method makes more sense.
