looking for a shortcut to video playback

I want all my mp4 videos to playback with a certain video program I own ( power dvd), and a few weeks back I found a spot in my windows 10 settings where I could change all my playback to windows media player . ( my mistake) .

Now I could individually change my playback mode for each one ( I have a seperate harddrive with many movies and video files to Power DVD .... but can't seem to find that short cut area .
( settings) where it will do this to all my files ( .mp4) with a single click ..]

any help?

Why do you regard that as a mistake?

I can do more with power DVD than windows media. Such as find and attach .srt to video with a simple click , can’t do that with WM.

In Power DVD GUI

Settings > Player > Advanced > File Association..
This is also described in the "F1" Help

So use the same procedure but choose PowerDVD this time.
