Two command line windows open and close quickly at startup

    Hello,

Is there a way to tell which program is responsible for two command line windows that open one after the other and then close one after the other quickly at startup?

All I see is 2 black windows that open and close very fast but that's it

    What can it be?

    Thanks

Identifying all start-up items is awkward since they are not all in the same place:
    Start-up - All users "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
    Start-up - CurrentUser "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
    Task manager, Startup tab
    Autoruns for Windows - MSDocs
You can also try videoing your screen with, say, your phone. I have identified unknown items by doing this.
    - Having time displayed in seconds can do wonders for tracking things down. So change the clock display to show seconds Hide or Show Seconds on Taskbar Clock - TenForumsTutorials

    Best of luck,
    Denis

Open Task Manager then Startup. Afterwards post a screenshot or Snip to post here so someone can verify which one is loading.

You won't find anything as OneDrive only runs when it's update first come deletes. All folders second make new folder and runs OneDrive set-up silent

See if that helps, open a command prompt and type the following:

    wmic startup get caption,command,location /value |more

It's OneDrive. You can sometimes see the pending command using Autoruns.

    Hi there
I'm not sure that it can be one drive at least not in every case-- I've uninstalled it on my system

Is there some sort of "debugging" mode one can start windows in -- I think W7 and earlier had "Start in Safe mode and had a prompt for drivers so as things loaded you had to type y or n if you wanted the drivers / service to load / start.

I'm sure people who develop Windows at Ms must have this type of tool available -- would be nice to let it out to wider public,

    Cheers
