GPEDIT.MSC nightmare!!!
OK Are you ready for this one? I just upgraded my pc with a 2tb SSD! everything is lightning fast except login on windows 10. that being said I made some adjustments in the settings which helped dramatically however being the NEVER HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT kind of guy that I am, I wanted to bypass the welcome screen on login wanted to go from splash screen right to my desktop. I read that if you went into group policy editor you could do that . seeing as I'm using windows 10 HOME, it doesn't have this option unless you d/l it from a 3rd party. which I did. suffice it to say that when I ran the BAT files as administrator, I lost control of EVERYTHING !!! I cant adjust ANY settings, no typed commands in the run area work . my administrator privilege's have been denied everywhere! is there a way to fix this without losing Windows all together? as a side note... I can get into safe mode and everything works. I actually went into the GPEDIT.SMC and re-did what i screwed up to begin with everything in that setting is now at NOT CONFIGURED. it changed nothing.
