    Remove OneDrive Folder


    Hi can I ask a little advice please I have just reformatted my computer and installed the latest version of windows as a clean install it is Version 20H2 build 19042.746
    All was ok but I then noticed when I looked at the folder Users then at my name there was a folder called OneDrive and, in this folder, there are 3 other folders called Desktop, Documents, Pictures. And things started going wrong when I tried to delete a folder from me desktop, I said unable the delete as the folder was open in another app
    I then thought this was probably the OneDrive folder so I uninstalled the OneDrive app and I was then able to delete the folder
    But now everything on my desktop is in this OneDrive folder and I am not able to delete it even though OneDrive is not on my computer anymore.
    I don’t think this folder was there before but I might be wrong is it possible to get remove this folder please

    manually copy the files from the Documents, Desktop, and Pictures folders on OneDrive (cloud) back into the the Documents etc folders on the PC. then Uninstall One Drive

    Hi guys thanks for the advice but the files in the OneDrive folder are already in the correct place on the computer but they are still in the OneDrive folder as well
    I have delete OneDrive form my computer but this one folder remains
    I have followed the advice from both posts but it will not delete, when i try i get the following message as in the screenshot below

    I have just booted into safe mode and deleted the onedrive folder and then rebooted and it came back i can delete in normal mode but then when i look in users and my name its back again

    Anymore advice on this problem please i can try please

    I have deleted OneDrive and rebooted but there is a onedrive folder in my USER folder containing my Desktop, Pictures and documents. and it reuses to delete i have booted into safe mode and then it deletes but when i boot back into windows its back again

    Help please
