Keyboard shortcuts for links only work until you restart your PC

Why is it that shortcuts for links only work until you restart your computer?

I created a link and set a keyboard shortcut for it (CTRL + SHIFT + B) but it only works until you restart your computer.

After restarting the computer I only get it to work again if I change the shortcut to something else (ex CTRL + ALT + C), save and then change it back to (CTRL + SHIFT + B).

Is there a way to make keyboard shortcuts permanent?

    Hola ricardobohner,

I just tried doing this. After I hit ctrl-shift-b and took a nap for 3 seconds, it did actually open notepad without a reboot. I'm still using 2004 as per under my avatar.

Not sure if I got that "took a nap for 3 secs thing" did you restart your computer after you created the shortcut and the shortcut still works?

I didn't reboot and the shortcut opened notepad after a delay.

Maybe my English is bad. What I want to say is that the Keyboard shortcut stops working after restarting the computer.

Okay, amigo, I'll update after I reboot, whenever that might be.

Sorry for the late reply, I've rebooted many times and the ctrl-shift-b shortcut still works with the 3-second delay still there.
