Is this a new /but stubborn/ bug?

Hello folks,

Just noticed something new on 20H2 build 19042.746, never seen it before...

When I click in explorer on any folder with pictures /or any other, perhaps/, then "view" on the ribbon,"options", "view" and want to toggle "always show icons, never thumbnails", is always saved from the second try. Never from the first time, pressing "apply" and "ok". Seems like that setting can't remember itself...

Any ideas?

apply should always be 1st then ok. If you are doing this and the trouble is still there
It might be a system glitch, try running sfc / scannow from an elevated command
prompt then reboot and see if it re occurs.

Thanks, thomaseg1, I always do apply first, then ok. I have already tried sfc / scannow, dism-commands but no change in behavior. And after all this is after clean install. No idea - probably a small glitch, as you said. Not a big deal, can live with it. Thank you again.

Thanks @spunk, the same issue is present within the other folders, just the check-mark of "always show icons, never thumbnails" can't be saved from first attempt. Tried with the folder C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents.
