How to get back pointer properties icon in systray?

In Windows 8.1 I ad an icon in the systray which would open the pointer properties dialog (the dialog which is misnamed mouse properties), which also include useful settings like choice of displayed cursor and trackpad sensitivity. In Windows 10 I can't find a way to get this back. Any hints?

You can only do this if the Control panel, Mouse entry contains that option. This will only be the case if the mouse/touchpad driver has been written to allow this option.

Check your computer maker for a Windows 10 driver for your touchpad.
    - You could always try a Windows 7/8 driver if that's all they offer.

You could create a shortcut on the desktop to it. Right-click the desktop / New / Shortcut. Type C:\Windows\System32\main.cpl Click Next and Name it Mouse Properties. If you drag it into the taskbar you'll lose mouse properties and it'll bring you right to All Control Panel Items.

Add Brink's Personalization(classic) to your desktop right click menu...

Lance1, you can also pin the Mouse Properties Page to the taskbar, if you first create a shortcut on the desktop with this target.
    %comspec% /c main.cpl
This gets the Properties page by going through the command box. You can change its icon, and Pin it to the taskbar. Once on the taskbar, change the target in the Path to
    C:\Windows\System32\main.cpl ,1
and it should open straight to the Mouse Properties Page with the Pointers Tab highlighted.
( C:\Windows\System32\main.cpl being the first tab, 1 being Pointers, 2 Pointer Options, 3 the Wheel etc).
