    Wake up from Sleep state

    I have a annoying issue: my PC (Win10 64 bit, version 1909, - desktop HP)

    Wake up from Sleep state-image_2021-01-21_112800.png

    is wake up from Sleep mode randomly, without any apparent user intervention. Of course, I checked in my command line powercfg -devicequery wake_armed, and as response I got NONE. However, my PC is still wake up randomly, but why ? What other cause might be ?

    Execute powercfg /lastwake to identify the event or device that is responsible for the last waking process.

    Hello @Flaviu2,

    Also, please perform the following . . .

     PowerCFG - Requests

    [1] Press the Win + X keys together > Command Prompt (Admin).
    [2] Type powercfg -Requests 2>&1 > Enter.

    • The Output should say None for everything.
    • If NOT, the item[s] could possibly STOP the computer going to, or waking up, from Sleep.
    • Post ANY items that are NOT None.

    I hope this helps.

    but when I am trying to delete this task, I got: Wake up from Sleep state-image_2021-01-21_192118.png

    Ddo not try to delete this task, instead go to the ''conditions'' panel and uncheck "Wake the computer to run this task''. But you should do it with system account privileges;

    This post show you how;

    Yes, I ran powercfg /WAKETIMERS
    and I got:

    Timer set by [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (SystemEventsBroker) expires at 4:25:29 PM on 1/22/2021.
    Reason: Windows will execute 'NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\Universal Orchestrator Start' scheduled task that requested waking the computer.

    Timer set by [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\S tartMenuExperienceHost.exe expires at 4:25:29 PM on 1/22/2021.

    This might help => Updates are paused but Update Orchestrator keeps waking PC.
