How to turn poorly placed POWER button into NONE/SLEEP?

I have a friend who bought this on my recommendation --

Pretty nice for $429 at Walmart. The product has one known shortcoming --

That Power button is WAY too close to that Power button. So someone in Amazon comments said --

"Power button placement next to the delete key was a pain, but through windows you can change the function of the power button to none/sleep."

Is this possible? And how? And then I wonder but what if you need to do a forced shutdown? It would seem to me that clicking the key should do nothing but leaning on it would cause the shutdown.

I don't know where to begin the begin, if you will.

UPDATE -- Now I know where to begin, as this video demonstrates --

Change Default Action of Power Button When Pressed on Windows 10 - YouTube

I didn't think it would be THAT easy. I thought this was a registry headache. Still I'm not exactly sure how to set it.

    1. An accidental hit should do nothing.
    2. A firm hit should shut it down... but...

How do I set it to do these?

How long do you press a Delete key for ??? Power button usually requires a 3-5 second hold down to activate, much more than the normal tap for any other key.

    idgat,

That is unusual. I have never known a computer that needed more than a momentary power button tap.

A very long duration press would be used to override the power button's allotted task [sleep/hibernate/off/restart] to force a hard off.

Power button on the case or other place on PC to shut down completely before windows shutdown require longer time, not ones on the KB.

I have the VivoBook X512F, the physical power button has a delay for hard shutdown.

    Here's a few old tricks.
Change Default Action of Shut Down Windows Dialog in Windows 10
Create a Shut Down Windows Dialog Shortcut in Windows 10

    - - - Updated - - -

So then just press ⊞ Win + D, followed by Alt + F4.

    - - - Updated - - -

...Or use a keyboard shortcut manager tool like AutoHotkey to assign that action. On my Logitech K800 keyboard the Power action is hooked to Fn + F8 by default.

Thanks everyone. It was so SIMPLE. I just set those buttons to DO NOTHING and that's... exactly what they do now.
