    Windows Search Not Working

After installing the latest updates I am unable to get Windows Search to work. I looked at some tutorials and tried what they recommended but so far nothing works. I am running Windows 10.

Welcome to TenForums Kendragon333. Try this. Press Windows Key + R Type regedit. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Search Right click an empty spot in the right pad, Select New and then D-WORD (32-bit) Name it BingSearchEnabled Double click it and set the value to 0 and click OK. Double-click CortanaConsent Set the value to 0 Click OK and Restart.

If that fails to work check Windows Search in the Services. Right-click This PC on the desktop. Select Manage Click Sevices and Applications / Services Make sure it's running and set to Automatic.

I tried both of those already. They were suggested in the tutorials I watched. There was something suggested by entering script into Powershell that I was unable to try due to not being able to read it off the screen, as it was really small as seen in the video.

Well, not sure which suggestion helped or if it just had to have time to reset, but it's working now. Thanks for your help.
