What Could Be Disabling Batch Files Scheduled in Task Scheduler?

I'm using Win10 Pro 2004. I go to Win-R > taskschd.msc > Task Scheduler Library. I see a number of batch files that I have scheduled to run at various times. I see that today, like yesterday, their status is Disabled. Yesterday, when I saw that, I right-clicked > Enable. But apparently that was turned off by day's end: I see that some of them, set to run daily, last ran three days ago.

I thought I had an inkling that Avast might be the culprit. But that suspicion has met so far with disbelief. Any ideas what else could be responsible, or how I could figure it out? My searches have been ineffectual; it seems this is not happening worldwide at the moment.

Yes, you're right. This is an old bug that's come back. It used to be Game mode, now known as 'Do not disturb'.

It's probably one or more of these settings: I disabled them all, and no problems since then.

Try that, else it's something else.

I have a high end PC that I use exclusively for gaming and I recall seeing a notification something to effect that all notifications would be silenced while I was gaming. Unfortunately I don’t remember what program/app it came from but it wasn’t Avast. I suppose it likely other apps can perform this do not disturb function.

I haven't had the problem for the past several days, but now it's back, so it's time to follow up on this.

For posterity, as partly shown by the image provided by dalchina, I reached that list in Avast by going into Performance > Do Not Disturb Mode > click on the gear icon at right for Settings. It didn't seem logical that any of the four options listed there would cause this problem, hence dalchina's indication that what I am encountering is a bug. So I followed his lead and unchecked them all. In that same place, I also unchecked the Software Updater options. We'll see if that resolves the issue.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I can confirm that one of those (not the 2nd which I've since enabled) stopped the problem occurring for me, which presumably started after an Avast update.

As I previously stated, there is precedent for Avast doing this if you care to research it- that's what gave me the clue.

That seems to have worked for me too. The problem has not returned.
