Don't think Eset is the cause. I have it on my windows 10 computer at work and works fine. It dual boots into xp and also into Windows 10 pro. Before, I had a pre-release version of 10 in a separate partition, but when the new version was released we bought the DVD and I installed it into that running OS (Windows 10 preview) and it just upgraded everything. Kept all my programs and setting alone, including my Classic Shell.
I've run ESET Nod32 on it in 64 bit version for a while.
arrrggghhhh..... that bug come again.....
Lol. Its due to Eset, admit it bro. There are so many other antivirus softwares so why to stick with eset only? Give them sometime to find the cause and I'm sure they will come up with a fixed version of eset. Till then install any other antivirus softwares. You will get also free trial from 30 days to 90 days so no need to buy either.
yesterday, I have Installed windows 10 x64 on my pc AGAIN...
and I also install eset 9 as antivirus, everything is fine until I enable the "enable detection of potentially unsafe applications" feature on eset at this noon. and after I restart my PC, that bugs are come up again...
*) sorry for bad english
I also have this issue. Tried reinstalling windows 10 with keeping all settings. Did not fix it. Guys do you have single monitor setup or multi monitor setup ? -Multi monitor here.
Yeah it is but till it fixes we have to use different antivirus softwares. I like Eset more then any other but due to this issue, I couldn't use it.
Btw; I agree with your statement on "potentially unsafe application" option. One of my program exe detects as such and then the problem rises after reboot.
I don't think its a matter of monitor setup and I have single monitor. Keeping all settings doesn't fix it. You either have to reset with delete all files and settings option (In Windows Drive) or restore to previous point where there was no issues with folder view and desktop icons.
