Restrictions when copying/moving files to C Drive

Is there any explanation as to why I have this situation of 1) Having to press the "continue" button everytime I'm copying/moving something to the C: drive (P.S. It's just a home PC and I'm the only admin/user), & 2) Why the "More details" is dimmed?

I'm running Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 Build 19042.685 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

This occurs for all users, even Administrators. Even if you are the only user. It looks like you are trying to copy to a System folder, and Windows is "warning" you this is unusual and may cause problems. I can't see what the file or folder is, so guessing. If you could provide some more detail, it would help. Thanks.

For a System folder, or other restricted folder, yes. That is what I am waiting to confirm. What folder(s) the OP is dealing with.

The folder CURSORS is a system folder and you will need to answer that question to copy to it. The only recourse would be to take ownership of the folder away from System/TrustedInstaller, and I do not recommend that.

I hope that helps. Any questions about this?

It's a Windows restriction, doesn't stop you dead in the water, just a warning. Hope this helps.

If you're ok with the answers, mark it solved so others will see. Thanks.

Although you're the only user on a home system there is a good reason why you need to confirm your actions - Malware. If malware gets onto your system it will take over the user rights of the user on the system when it happened.

This means that without the checks on all users to confirm that they wish to do something to a system folder the malware will be able to cause damage to the system. To prevent this the the actual request, and it's response from the user takes place in a separate local process that can only be completed on the computer itself

It is advised that users set the system to require a password be confirmed on the keyboard so the malware cannot perform the action, though this is not normally required in non commercial system
