    Keyboard Layout

Hello everybody and MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have an old machine I use for important business. I had to reinstall Windows and I ended up with Windows 10 Home Single Language.

As the laptop is old, the issue here is the keyboard layout available in this version of Windows does not match the hardware, the one I wanted is IBM enhanced.

Is there any way I can add this layout to and how to do it and from where I can can get it.

    Device name: Dell Inspiron 7520Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHzInstalled RAM 8.00 GB (7.87 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 10 Home Single LanguageVersion 20H2OS build 19042.685

Thank you @bobkn, I have the latest approved drivers for this model. The problem is that the IBM Enhanced Layout keyboard is not included in the installation of this Windows version, so I hope to find a way to to add it to the list of keyboards.

I presumed that you'd need drivers that aren't included in the standard Windows installation. If the Dell package does not include them, I can't guess where else to look. Sorry.

That is correct, but I guess there is a way as this layout is common.

It is generally only necessary to select keyboard nationality - all my keyboards UK versions are what I understand (going back to the 1980s) as "IBM enhanced". If I am correct about this meaning would turning on (or off?)the Num Lock achieve your requirement?

    Thanks @rqt,

As this laptop is old, that is the way the physical keyboard was laid out, Letters and numbers are all correct, but most of the other signs are misplaced, that is why I'm looking for it.

"Letters and numbers are all correct, but most of the other signs are misplaced"

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at
Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

I'm using US QWERTY because this is my Windows language.

This is what I'm looking for:

I do not know how to install this, any advise will be appreciated.
