This is in messenger and I open the image they are safe they are pictures of my niece. I open them and I right click and choose save. If I try to rename them is when it crashes.
And as far as text documents I open a note pad from the start menu. I have my start menu like Windows 7. After I open I type out or paste something then try to save and name it crashes. I have always done it this way it's always worked until Microsoft started changing things around. Now If I copy this post paste it in Notepad try to save it will crash. Yes sometimes I copy my post because sometimes on some forums they get deleted for some reason.
Thanks for the help. I will try more and figure this out but any replies are welcome. I am running Windows 10 2004 not 20H2 because if some other issues. But it seems I keep finding issues in 2004 also.

Press the Windows key+X and choose Powershell (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin) here type or copy paste
DISM /Online /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RestoreHealth and press Enter. When that is done,
type SFC /scannow and press Enter. This will replace any missing System Files.
You can also update to the latest version of Windows 10

I am leaving the latest version alone right now. I have updates paused and I check manually no other problems with the version I am using. 20H2 I had some issues so I rolled back to this version. @spunk I found out what the problem was. It was Acronis True Image causing the problem. I have found other problems with Acronis also. And don't even try getting tech support from them. They will keep asking this and that and drag the issue out as far as they can.

Make a Bootable Rescue USB Flash Drive of Acronis in the app. Test that you can boot the computer with the Flash drive. Boot back into Windows and Uninstall Acronis on Windows.
Boot from the Acronis Flash drive to save an image of your computer to another drive or an external USB HDD. If disaster strikes, boot from the Flash drive and choose Restore, and Browse it to your stored image.
