RAW image files are a lot larger than jpegs. If they are larger than the maximum storage size of your recycle bin then you won't be able to put them there, only delete them permanently. See if making your recycle bin larger helps...

It can be dangerous but a quick choice for deleting files and bypassing the Recycle Bin is to hold down the Shift key then click Delete or press the Del key. If doing it frequently I think I'd create a To be Deleted folder and move the files into it first.

Where are you deleting the RAW files from? I'm a photographer who only shoots RAW (Nikon D800E & D850 NEF files) files and I can delete the files from my PC without issue.

That said, are you deleting off a drive and then removing the drive before deleting the files from the recycle bin? If so, plug the drive back in and then try to empty the recycle bin.

BTW, I import my files to PC via Lightroom, and any files not needed are deleted from PC without issue.

    Let us know.

And that should be no issue. But you didn't answer my question - from where are you deleting the files that puts them in the recycle bin. Please re-read my post.

BTW whenever I delete files from Lightroom they go to the Recycle bin and I can empty (delete) it without issue. Not sure why you're having a different result considering we both use Lightroom and both shoot RAW files from a D850

How are you trying to delete the files from the Recycle bin? If you're using "Disk Cleanup", you need to run it for each drive attached to the PC. Example, I've five drives attached to my PC, including E drive for my photos. If I run Disk Cleanup, it's only going to clear the drive it defaults open, in this case "C" drive. Thus if I want to delete "E" drive, I have to run Disk Cleanup and choose "E" drive.

However, if you simply right click "Recycle Bin" and click "Empty", all files, regardless of drive location will be emptied.

There is yet another possibility and one I asked.... if you have an attached drive the files are sitting on, and you remove that drive, there is a possibility those files won't get removed from the Recycle bin, because the bin can not see the drive that you removed. Have had that happen to me - I could not delete a file because the drive (external) the file was on was removed.

    Let us know.

Dont use disk cleanup, the files are on the P, i doubled the size of the recycle bin and it allowed me to delete some photos but not them all,

That kind of doesn't make sense because increasing the Recycle Bin's size would only allow more stuff to sit in it, instead of being automatically deleted because of lack of space - Change Maximum Storage Size for Recycle Bin in Windows 10.

And I'm not sure what "the files are on the P" means. Did you read my posts?

Anyway, you seem to be doing posts with half answers so I've got no further suggestions. Sorry.
