Send and receive SMS messages without a mobile phone.

I can send text messages to my wife or daughter, an example would be their 10-digit number such as 0000000000@txt.att.net.

Does your ISP provide mobile phone service like Spectrum advertises and do you subscribe to it? Spectrum has packages that include TV, Internet and phone.

SMS is actually sent via internet Email

On a phone when you sent a text to [standard 10 digit phone number] it is actually sending via internet email to the proper portal.

To sent a text from your Email to me it would be [my 10 digit phone number]@sms.myboostmobile.com
To a T-Mobile phone it would be [10 digit phone number]@tmomail.net

A bit clumsy but can be done

Is this a work environment? or your Home? If a work Environment, there is probably a company policy against texting and phone calls.
