OS & Apps - Should I start fresh from 0 or mirror to new NVME?

I am building a rig, nothing is coming from the previous one. Hence it'll need different drivers for everything.
Is it worth the speed and convenience that mirroring the drives affords you?
Or is it overall better, safer, to start from scratch?

Its really your choice. I've done both and the cloned system is running just as good as the fresh install system. Why not take the drive from the old computer and just install it as a second drive in the new computer?

Keep the old one as an operational spare .
Use it for trial purposes, because it won't matter so much if/ when things go wrong.
