    OneDrive folder

    Good evening,

I got rid of one drive in windows 10 in all the places except in one place
the folder of one drive in : C:\Users\xxxxx\one drive
I keep on deleting it but it comes back....
How can I get rid of him permanently ? there is no links to him anymore but I can`t stand to see him again and again

My guess would be; since Onedrive is heavily integrated into windows 10. It would be almost impossible to get rid of every last bit of it. Even though MS allows us to uninstall it, there will be some residuals of it left that may still work in a way we don't know about.

That said, take control of the folder...ie take ownership of folder and see if it will delete ii that way. If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

    Download OneDrive Uninstaller 1.4

    Alternatively
    Code:
    taskkill /F /IM onedrive.exe
    "%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\OneDriveSetup.exe"/uninstall
    "%SYSTEMROOT%\SysWOW64\OneDriveSetup.exe"/uninstall
    rd "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\OneDrive"/Q /S
    rd "%PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft OneDrive"/Q /S
    rd "%USERPROFILE%\OneDrive"/Q /S

    well thank you all
I finally got rid of this folder and all the residuals left using the codes to localize all the places
to be honest this folder was not linked anymore, but I couldn`t support to see him
by the way, I do use my one drive account on the cloud , but only storing there what I need without any synchronization!
