Start Menu no longer working 20H2

    I have an automatic backup run once a month, but unfortunately it last ran on the 1st Nov!

    In the future I won't just be postponing, but also doing a manual backup before any big updates.

    - provided you mean a disk image, not just data backup... they are two very different things.

    And...using a disk imaging tool like Macrium Reflect, instead of the problematic built-in Backup and Restore (Windows 7).

Today I suddenly found that even if I shift click on Start Menu button in my Win10-64bit, no start menu opens. And if I click without shift key, then Open Shell menu opens. So to regain the Win10 default start menu, I uninstalled the Open Shell....
Hello Gang, One laptop I have on the IP fast build, now on 14905.1000 has this issue. Click start, then click power, and blink, the start menu just closes, no options given for shutdown. The options above for settings and file explorer work...
