I can't see why you will be banned for your opinions as you're perfectly entitled to them. Personally I think Windows 10 is a much better OS that 7 ever was. But that's my opinion.

The wonderful thing about Windows is, if if you don't like the Default Microsoft app, you can always download a 3rd party app that you prefer.

Actually, there is better software available for viewing photos and editing videos than anything Microsoft puts out.

For photo viewing I use Infanview, which is fast and does everything I wish.

For photo editing I'd recommend the Gimp. I've used photoshop professionally and the Gimp comes in as an acceptable second with the added plus of being free

As for a video editor, I can't advise you there but I've heard of a few

For Office Suites: LibreOffice or OpenOffice, both are free and well designed. I once supported MS Office professionally and both LibreOffice and OpenOffice are excellent and the bonus is they are also Free

As for as MS stuff, does anyone actually use Microsoft's browser, Internet Explorer, or that new MS browser, Edge?

There are many good choices of software and here is a safe website to get a lot of free choices to try
