Black Screen when signing into Windows!

Hi guys, hope you're all doing well, I have been having issues lately since formatting my pc onto a brand new drive. I've had no BSOD, no lockups etc the issue I'm facing when I start my pc for the first time of the day it boots up fine, get to the welcome screen, I sign in and I'm greeted by nothing but a black screen, mouse cursor is moving fine CTRL + ALT + DEL works fine though clicking Task Manager doesn't do anything. I click restart my pc restarts and lets me sign in with no issue, Memtest86 has been performed with no errors I've ran SFC/SCANNOW and that brings up nothing, also no overclocked are applied to the system. Windows version 20H2 OS Build 19042.572

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

This may be related to a known gotcha, as reported in this Windows Latest story: Microsoft warns Windows 10 bug behind black screen, browser data loss

Have you tried disconnecting all drives except the OS one and then starting and see if operations are normal?
If so then repeat the process until,or if,an offending drive is found.
Does Reliability History give any entries covering the problem event?
Perhaps you could run---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth---don't forget that sfc uses only files on YOUR computer, whereas dism uses Microsoft web files.

I've heard a few horror stories regarding this, hopefully gets patched soon.

I can give that a go (disconnecting the other drives) but I've had no issues at all with all my drives, I've ran several health checks for bad sectors etc and nothing and it's only since I installed Windows onto another brand new ssd it's all started, if I run DISM /ONLINE will I loose any data?

    Thanks
