    How do i stop these from appearing?


    "Video tools"
    "Shortcut tools"
    "Application tools"

    You can't, they are a built-in function of the File Explorer Ribbon.

    They're intended to be helpful. You automatically get tool tabs appropriate to the type of file(s) you have just selected. You can't see the tools in your screenshot as your ribbon is minimised, but when expanded, or you click on the tab you'll see them. In the case of 'Shortcut Tools' and 'Application Tools' they offer the functions you are most likely to want to use after selecting a shortcut, open the file location the shortcut points to, run as administrator (or as another user), pin to taskbar, etc.

    As i won't be using them at all so i figured maybe there is a way to stop them from appearing, guess not.

    Only with a third-party solution such as OldNewExplorer, that can make Explorer look and behave as it did in Windows 7. Seems overkill just to get rid of a couple of tabs though, and may introduce compatibility issues of its own.
