    Is there a safe search Program like cortana to search 330,000 files


    I have years of files that Malwarebytes Premium indicates to be about 330,000 when it searches for Malware and PUPs . in my attempt to undo some of the Chaos in my life. I am looking for certain information on my computer associated with a persons name for instance It is highly probable that some information may be held by broken links that I may lose forever should I ever Clean up my PC I have used 98Se, 7 , 8, Vista and possible 2000

    In the past I believe I have used cortana which brings up folders/files and hover the mouse on results to read the full path path and get back further in time with other linked folders doing that, at least that is what I believe I did .

    My PC if not shown: is Maker Medion, My Microsoft Windows 10 is Version 2004: Build 19041.572: Home Operating System.

    For file and folder searches, I use a free tool called Everything from voidtools.

    voidtools

    To search for references "inside" of files, I use Nirsoft's SearchMyFiles

    https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/search_my_files.html

    See the "File Contains" option.
