    Error ID 10016

    Hi guys and girls,

So i got this error 10016 and found a lot of the same fixes for this error.
I can do all the edits and stuff except for the last one:

Component services -> Computers -> My Computer -> DCOM Configuration.
    Everything is fine so far.
PerAppRuntimeBroker ( This is the one that needs the fix ) -> Properties -> Security -> Launch and Activation Permissions -> Edit.

Now i am supposed to click the "Add" button etc but the "Add" button is greyed out and i can't seem to find any fix for this.

Anyone knows how to deal with this problem? I'm so close to fixing it but just can't click the add button.

    Greetings.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

There are hundreds of threads on this forum about this error. I think the general consensus is that it can mostly be ignored. Indeed I believe Microsoft downgraded it a couple of releases or so a go. I have pretty much learnt to ignore.

Please read through this thread and in particular EdTittels post.

Please confirm if what you really seeing are really errors as the post title states or just warnings.

I see a lot of 10016 warnings in my Event Viewer which I believe are just ignorable unfortunately like many other M$ deems to be okay - which I don't like it all.

So very important to distinguish between error and warnings.
