How to increase font size of menu text, icon text, message boxes, etc.

My present W10 version is 1909. When Windows first eliminated a user's ability to specify font size of icons, menu text, tool tips etc. there were some registry hacks available (in TenForums amongst other places) that did the trick... but those scripts don't work in the latest Windows 10 version: any solutions? I don't want to increase the font size across the whole system.
I can't help but wonder why Microsoft is so bent in stopping people from customizing their OS in this regard... ?

Hello freebie1, and welcome to Ten Forums.

You can use the method in the tutorial below to change the text size in Windows 10.

Thank you for your reply, but the method you have shown increases font across the board: i don't want that... TenForums has scripts for altering the registry accordingly for 5 items: tool tips text size, menu text, icon text etc--but these don't work with W10 version 1909... again, i can't imagine why MS is so bent that people shouldn't be able to do this--they fixed something that wasn't broken and buggered it up...

    Works!

Thank you for your help: I have to say I am surprised because it seems I used those very scripts before--have them saved on my comp from 2 or 3 years ago, but they didn't change anything now... the link you gave me to seemingly identical scripts worked now... my vision is suffering from age-a-sitis so it is great to have than now...
