Mouse hover creates havoc, opening windows

I'm getting very weird behaviour suddenly. Although Setting > Devices...
    > 'Mouse Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them' is set to OFF, it's as if it's permanently enabled to ON.

Creates havoc. For example hovering over tabs in my Firefox or Waterfox browsers causes ALL to be rapidly displayed successively until cursor moved away. Many more examples.

    Anyone getting similar behaviour?

This is Win 10 Pro Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1110).

    Hello Terry,

In addition, double check to make sure Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse is turned off using the option in the tutorial below.

Thanks Brink, I'm sure that was the cause. But this morning I saw there had been an overnight WU and hover issue is no longer occurring.

BTW, straying OT a bit, on checking my Update History there's no mention of an update last night (11th or 12th October). Version remains 1909 18363.1110,and I'm consistently shown as 'You're up to date' even though I know there are later versions.

It's always nice when Windows fixes itself.

Correct. Windows 10 version 2004 is currently available.
