When you click on tuneup.bat it opens this webpage:
Batch files for use in BSOD debugging
with Microsoft defender typically displays: Tuneup.bat was blocked because it could harm your computer.

    Downloading Tuneup.bat

clicking on the three dots > click keep > click keep anyway > show in folder > continue as needed to launch the bat file

'The operation completed successfully' but when I tried to copy the text which was generated as soon as I clicked CTRL + A it vanished. I am hoping it is hiding somewhere and you will be able to tell me how to locate it so I can send it on. The instructions on how to submit it also vanished.

I have found the instructions, but not yet the text to be copied.

I found this but I know it is not what you are asking for. I am about to run the file again now.

The output vanished again. I will tell you what I did so you can tell what I am doing wrong. Clicking Tuneup.bat generates a lot of CMD text. The instructions (much of which I do not understand) asks me to Copy it --- so I am pressing Ctrl A to select it all, at which point instead of selecting it the text vanishes. How do I Copy all the text if I cannot select it?

Just for information, and only relating to how to copy the Output of the command box :

If, for whatever reason the command text disappears only if and when you use Ctrl+A on the keyboard, then another way to copy the text is that, when the batch file has run succesfully and all the output is still visible, then, do not touch any keys on the keyboard. But, from that point onwards, using the mouse only, right click the command box title bar, then click on 'Edit' and then 'Select All'. When everything gets selected, once again right click the command title bar, then click 'Edit', and then click on 'Copy'. The output should now be on the clipboard, so you just have to paste that either to this thread or to a notepad.

The BSOD repository for each batch file tells you how to capture the necessary output. For the one you ran, Tuneup.bat (now) has this:

    Part Three
Capture output of batch file to Clipboard

Follow the directions in Part Two of the Index (first post at the top) to capture the output of the batch file in the Command Prompt or Powershell Window for posting in your BSOD thread at tenforums.com.

If you accidentally close the Command Prompt/Powershell window before you captured the data, you can still collect the SFC data by downloading and running:

SFCfromFile.bat to extract all SFC entries from CBS.log or CBSPERSIST*.log (if necessary).

All other output is lost. If needed you will have to run Tuneup.bat again.
I just fixed it as it was pointing to the wrong place before, sorry.

My clocks have all started running correctly at last. I do not know why, but it must have been something I tried from the above posts so thanks to everyone for the help.

The clocks are working OK now. If they stop again I will try the fix suggested as far as I can, but batteries are not at all easy to take out on my sealed TabletPC.
