    locked out after safe boot win 10

    I did a safe boot and can not access any accounts. Passwords are invalid. I know the passwords.

    Obviously I can't give win version

    Hi, this is how you can cancel Safe Mode.

    As you don't know a matching password, you can't use System Restore, for example, either.

    You therefore need to make a change to your installed O/S as an offline system to cancel Safe Mode.

    This covers this: (by tenforums member Try3)

    Note how you boot your PC from a Win 10 install disk (or a live boot disk if you have one).
    If you don't, you can create one quite readily (tutorial available).

    Once you have your system up and running again:
    a. resolve the password issue.
    b. ensure you are using disk imaging routinely as is so, so, so often recommended so you have a means of recovery from many bad situations. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free/paid) + large enough external storage.
