That's ok. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know why but Windows is not creating any new dump files.

    Update:

I did some benchmarks/stress tests today. No errors.

PC crashed one more time while watching Twitch.tv. This time without the buzzing sound. It's so weird because it doesn't freeze comepletely if you know what I mean. I had to reboot. No new dmp files.

I've ran the log collector again: Dropbox - RAMIREZPC-(2020-10-05_07-02-23).zip - Simplify your life

Are you able to do any stress testing of the graphics card?

Yes. I was able to run the test for 25 min with no problems. I had to stop at 25min because I lost power in my whole house due to the storm outside. Do you want me to repeat it?

No, that was an adequate test. I am unable to explain the freeze phenomenon that you are getting. What processes are running when it happens? You can sometimes tell this by having task manager showing processes open on the desktop in the hope that you will see it during a freeze. There are ways you can monitor processes if you know when a crash is likely to occur. @cwsink is an expert on this approach. Let's see if he can help?

Sure, why not. It often happens when I'm watching something on YouTube or Twitch in Google Chrome. It never happened while I'm gaming for some reason. I always have HWMonitor on, software from Creative - Volume Panel, Nvidia stuff, Razer Synapse and f.lux. That's it I guess. Oh, and I'm using Equalizer APO on my Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro to compress audio.

I strongly believe that my hardware is fine. I had 0 problems on Windows 1903. It must be caused by something about Windows 2004 or the drivers/programs - maybe the newer Nvidia (I was using 441.87 on 1903) or Creative drivers.

Do you think it would be a good idea to downgrade the Nvidia driver? I also have an idea to unplug Creative sound card, uninstall the drivers and test using only On-Board audio. I could also try to go back to 1903 or install 1909. What do you think?

    Hi Ingmar,

Please check C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports to see if there are any dump files in it or its subfolders. Your description reads like symptoms of a GPU experiencing timeout detection and recovery (TDR) issues, perhaps.

    Hi @cwsink,

    LiveKernelReports folder is empty.

What is the "Date Modified" of that folder in File Explorer? That it exists suggests at least one live kernel dump was created at some point though it may have been deleted to free up disk space.

There is only Date created - 7 Dec 2019. I can't see Date Modified.

btw. I never saw "Display driver has stopped responding" message. I had this problem on my old GPU so I know what you're talking about.

Does that date make sense? Is this a Windows installation from at least as far back as the end of 2019?
