hello @FreeBooter, thanks for your answer, and nice to see you here
but i have not any issue about default font settings,
the probem; when i use Win+Tab: Open the Task view, my desktop icons' font color changes to white with shades, i need a restart (explorer) for get them back to black
i controlled that registry entry in the tutorial,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Font Management
it is empty after and before my win+tab process
i also applied it but nothing changes
A font is a graphical representation of text that may include a different typeface, point size, weight, color, or design.
I would restore default fonts just in case.
Also install latest version of graphic card drive.
Sorry i have no solution for it.
I don't think there is a solution other than restarting Explorer. I also have my Desktop Icon Font set to black, but Windows really wants to push the whote with drop-shadows on evveryone, and certain thigs seem to trigger a refresh where that default is appled, including +tab.
I just accept it & have a "Restart Shell" shortcut on my Desktop.
i searched registry taskview entries but i cannot find any solution
if we find the settings, we can fix
it is really annoying
My guess is that nothing is being changed in the registry, that's why your desired settings return when you restart Explorer. I think it's a hard-coded default that gets applied when the system doesn't bother to chekc the registry!
